Cuyahoga Valley Career Center 
Cuyahoga Valley Career Center proudly serves as the Career and Technical arm for eight associated school districts, serving twenty-five surrounding communities. School administrators and staff needed the ability to place and receive phone calls from any location within the sprawling campus. Students and staff also needed to have reliable Internet access from any location on campus.
Challenge: Administrators and students need wireless access inside and outside the facility
Solution: Wireless LAN, Location Tracking Appliance
Results: WLAN offers students and staff indoor and outdoor network access; technology staff can easily monitor network traffic and security; dense wireless coverage is in place for future voice applications
Next: The addition of an IP phone system, allowing staff to carry a ‘twin’ of their desktop phone throughout the facility, offering an increased level of safety for staff and students and reducing costs.
